been a while since an update.

I know it's been a while since I posted here....so, what have I been up to?

I have been slowly getting more toys...(help I am so addicted to the Elos stuff !!!)

I ordered the doors and light fixtures in the Ferrari red. Doors should be in by next week and the lights by mid February. For the lights I decided to go with three separate units and plan to mount them '' front to back'' They are the Elos Planet II with one 250wMH and four T5 for each unit, along with two moonlights whi…

going a bit smaller

Been a while since I posted here.

Life ofthen has a way of stearing you into a certain direction. Lately I had been doing plenty of ''soul searching'' about how something this large would consume what little free time I have available for my familly when a series of events unfolded that could only be explained as KARMA !

To make a long story short.... I now have my tank, although a lot smaller than the 300+ gal. one I had planed. Neverless, I am very excited about it's size. Som…

There's a little black spot on the sun today

Mom, who hasn't been feeling well for the past few days, got the results from a 'stress test' showing a blockage in one of her coronary veins. I told her to gather all the test results and then call me so that I can get her here to a good NYC hospital asap. (hospitals where she lives aren't the greatest). Now, just waiting for her call...with my finger on the jetblue website. Hope it all works out as planed.

on my way to work

Funny how you hear a song and it just stays with you all day!

on my way to work this morning the station played Don McLeans' Vincent (starry night). I hadn't heard that song in a long time. For those that aren't familliar with the song it is Dons' tribute to the painter Vincent VanGoh and describes his famous painting 'stary night' in a haughtingly melodic tone.

Starry

Slowly gathering momentum....got the salt, sand, test kits, media for the reactors, mixing tanks, refractrometer and now finalizing the sump design for the builder. I have also decided to incorporate a small frag tank into my plans.
....the addiction never ends lol
