Sunny

Well, I got a new coral, actually a coupl eof new things. Sunny is my prize right now. He of course is the sun coral. Funny name for a coral that likes the shade, huh? Well, I really like this little guy and hope he will be happy in his new home. I guess I have had him for about a week now and he already stays open most of the day. He is adjusting well and that makes me smile.

Old Man Fish

Today when I went to the LFS I saw a fish that was so ugly, yet so cool and unique that of course I wanted it. It really wasn't ugly, just really kind of strange. I don't know what it was and they were so busy that by the time I got what I wanted I forgot to ask what the thing was. It was white and looked kind of like the whole head of it was just that, "duh" no like it was an old wrinkled person's head shaped almost like human on a fish body with fins like paws or feet. The eyes and mouth look… Continue

Havoc: the tube anemone

Well yesterday me and a friend went to Kissimmee to a LFS I had never been to before. The place was pretty neat and they had quite a selection of corals and salt water fishies. My friend had pointed out the tube anemone to me and the next thing you know this tube guy was following me out to the car. Little did I know he was going to be able to get in the car too, but sure enough he is now sitting peacefully in the corner of my tank far far away from any coral. I named him "havoc" because that is… Continue

Little About me

Yes the picture is me on my friend's bike on my wedding day Nov 19, 2005. About 3 months after that on Feb. 16 2006 my husband and I were in a bad motorcycle accident, which I only explain because there are times I have typing and memory issues. I have what is called RSD from the accident and it can be quite painful for me to use my hands at times so if someone does write something to me, my answers may be delayed or short. If I ask the same thing to you or post something that may be similar, be… Continue

I appreciate the comments. I was born & raised here in P'Cola, so it's very likely we have some common friends. Spent 10 years down in Lakeland, but moved back here 3 years ago. Thanks again for the comments

Thanks for the link you left me.
I saw it in your thread on RS while I was at work and I was going to look for it again so I could bookmark it at home.
On a related topic here is a link for a place that makes the rock for you. Its much cheaper than real LR but it takes longer for it to become Live.
