I have been reefkeeping now almost 6 years, and enjoy the basics as well as fragging (I am a member of Frag Exchange . I am also heavily interested in doing coral ID's (see my website for examples)

120 Gallon Indo-Pacific Reef

Tank: 120 Gallon All Glass Reef ready, dual corner overflows/Mahogany stand/canopy
Lighting: PFO fixture: 2x 250watt 10K metal halides and 2x 96 watt actinic PC; Halides on 9-6/8:30-6:30 , PC actinics on 7am-9pm; then moonlighting with single LED
Sump: MRC 40gallon sump, running coarse filtration and carbon and phosban through reactors
Live Rock: ~120 pounds in tank/sump - Fiji
Substrate: 1/2" sand (changed as wasn't maintaining the dsb well and built up nutrients)
Skimmer: MRC-1 (myreefcreations.com)- pulls out 1 cup/day thereabouts
Water Flow: return via 2 lockline tubing with Mag 9 pumps, 1 tunze turbelle pump (3000gph)and 1 Seio 1500 gph (total turnover approx.5000gph); New Tunze mini impeller 750gph
Salt: Instant Ocean, salinity at 1.025 (pre-mixed and aerated prior to use)
Water: RO/DI by AquaFx unit; 35-40 gallon weekly water changes, 4 -8 gallon per week of FW topoff (currently manually)
Parameters: Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate at 0; Calcium 350-450, Alkalinity at 9mg/L - not using calcium addition yet as holds steady with water changes, watching closely tho; Temp: 75-78
Controller: Digital Aquatics Reef Keeper - controls lighting, prevents overheating of tank, and has a powerhead on a wave cycle
Backup: DPC battery backup - runs one return pump for 3 hours if power fails, automatically, considering adding another in series

Fish:

- 1 yellow Tang - Zebrasoma flavescens

- 1 Purple Tang - Zebrasoma xanthurum (rescue- i know not indo-pacific :) )

- pair mandarin gobies Synchiropus splendidus - eating frozen and currently mating every 3-4 days (not collecting eggs currently and I havent seen them so may not be successful but fun to watch)

- 3 green clown gobies - Gobiodon atrangulatus

- 1 neon blue goby - Elacatinus oceanops - cleans his mates up well

- 2 lyretail anthias - Pseudanthias squamipinnis

- 1 Copperbanded Butterfly - Chelmon rostratus

- 2 ocellaris clowns - Amphiprion ocellaris

- 2 yellow watchman gobies - Cryptocentrus cinctus

- 4 Blue Green Chromis - Chromis viridis
- 1 scooter blenny - Synchiropus ocellatus

Coral:
- Montipora sp. -digitate - green

- favia still small

- Galaxea grown from a single polyp from IMAC

- plating Montipora (interestingly by ID of skeleton not capricornis, still unsure) - green and orange

- Blastomusa wellsi

- Fungia - green, with 2 small frags of another purple/green

- Pocillopora brown
- stylophora - green

- Tubastrea - yellow sun polyps branching and encrusting

- Gorgonian - plexuarella

- Pavona sp.

- Green and brown/green Candy cane

- Turbinaria sp.

- 2 Crocea clams doing well
