I finally did the cutting and dry fitting of the PVC...and the only issue I have is that the freaking bumble-bee pump supplied by H&S is really loud. The overall set up is as follows: 1.25" bulkhead downspout to a 10 gall AGA with the skimmer. The return is .75 in PVC from a mag 3 returned through a vertical spray bar....my camera went to England without me, so I have to barrow...pics'll be up tomorrow if all goes well.
CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so here be the deal with the LFS and the tank: I can pick it up Sunday. I'm going crazy to get this thing into my shed and start doing the plumbing and checking to see if I have to scuddle in a refuge. I'm likely stuck with a mini-fuge/ nano-fuge plexi'd into the sump, but anything, apparently, is better than nothing.
I am a little nervous as this is the first tank I'll run with LR and skimmer as the only filtration. I'm pretty good (horrible) about water changes, but I fi…

not real cute, but had toys! Got everything I ordered...set up the sump and disscovered that there is not much in the way of wiggle room. So little in fact, that there will be no refuge...unless I get really cute with some plexi....maybe a small one....the heater (Jaeger 100 watt), Mag 3 and ASM mini will be in the sump...standard AGA 10 gallon. The refuge (should there be one?) will be a bout 3" x 3"...is it worth it? I'll post a thread....later!

So here I am siting at home sick, waiting for UPS-a-clause to bring my toys and for the LFS to call and say "It's ready". Other than that, just planning the sump. The space I have limits me to a 10g and most of that is slated for the ASM mini skimmer and the mag drive 3. I'd love some options on how to arrange the sump to include a refuge (or alge scrubber system).
Ok, so for now, that's all. My goal is to put the records and graphs of the…

I'd like 1 or two fish in the reef. Thinking basselet, clown, goby, blenny, maybe pseudochromis, maybe even some sort of tiny wrasse........opinions? Additional ideas? The tank focus is on shrooms, zoas, etc and inverts (shrimp, brittles, snails...)
